WIP Wednesday

Last week was the first time I linked up to WIP Wednesday over at Lee's blog, Freshly Pieced.  Well, I only showed one of my many WIP's....instead of all of them.  So here is my attempt to completely come clean with ALL of my WIP's.  WARNING - this post will be picture heavy as my WIP's are totally out of control!

If you are still with me, there are pictures of EIGHT quilt tops above, BUT guess what, there are actually NINE.  I haven't photographed one yet.  The one I haven't photographed yet is to be given to our local girls ranch and it is bright and happy and is the first one on my list to be completed.

Quilts in Process

Thankfully, I only have four more quilts in the process stage!  Ugh.

On a Whim blocks 7&8 of 20
On a Whim Quilt by Thimbleblossoms - I have made 14 of 20 blocks.....

I don't have pictures of the three other quilts I have started though.  Two are from International Quilt Festival classes taken in 2010 (Crazy Nines class and Piccadilly Stars class) and the final project is a hand applique class I took at my LQS thinking I would have a passion for that type of quilting - and guess what?! - turns out I am lacking that passion after all!

So, there it is - full disclosure.  Whew, it feels good to come clean.  :)  Hopefully by linking up weekly it will light a fire under me to finish some of these projects up!

Current WIPS:  13

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. You are a very busy lady! What beautiful projects you are working on. I happen to know that you usually complete a project from start to finish. That means you have many, many, many more COMPLETED projects!!! (And I also happen to know that they are just as beautiful as the WIPs.)

    Great Job, Friend!! ;)

  2. Wow, you have got it going on! I'm working on an On A Whim Quilt too, but in the multi-colour palette. Your WIPs are gorgeous, I particularly like your bounce quilt and the Fresh Cottons top. Do you quilt thm yourself or have them done by a longarmer?
